Report to Arish
Where: Central · Evacuation Zone · Sinkhole · CFD Platform
What to do
Head back to the Sinkhole and reach the CFD Platform. The quickest path runs through the Evacuation Zone.
What can go wrong
If the route looks closed, use the fastest return path you already unlocked instead of replaying Into the Sinkhole.
Defend the CFD
Defend the CFD
Three connected phases: the front, the blockade, and the retreat back to the platform.
At the Front
Hold the front line and clear the incoming wave around the CFD.
At the Blockade
Move to the blockade and defend the CFD there until the area is clear.
Retreat to the Platform
Fall back to the CFD Platform and regroup before you activate the device.

What can go wrong
If the wave will not end, make sure you are defending the CFD itself and not fighting in a side area.

Activate the CFD
Where: CFD Platform
What to do
Interact with the control point on the CFD Platform. A story transition begins.

If the control point is not interactive, finish the previous defense phase first.

Follow the CFD and Use the Switch
- 1Follow the CFD as it starts to move.
- 2Cross the shifting geometry behind it.

What to do
Finish the sequence by destroying the CFD to close the mission.

Quest Still Not Starting?
Work through these checks before assuming a bug. This is a dense multi-prerequisite gate.
The quest never appears in my log
One of the four requirements is still open. Check Power Lines, Into the Sinkhole, the Central Resonant and the West Incursion Resonant one by one.
Plan of Attack still looks active
Plan of Attack closes on its own once its linked requirements are done. It has no marker of its own, so its log entry can stay visible for a while.
I cannot reach the West Incursion Resonant
You likely need Shift to reach the Theater. Complete The Incursion Fault to unlock Shift, then return to the Resonant.
Pope is not at the Field Office
A prerequisite is still incomplete. Recheck the requirements list, then return once every row is marked complete.
The CFD objectives will not progress
Make sure you are defending or following the CFD itself rather than a nearby area. If it still stalls, it may be a known issue tracked on the updates page.
