Find the Parking Garage in the West Incursion Zone, then get the Security Key from Wear 'Em & Wash 'Em nearby. Open the garage, drop to the lowest level and use the old television to enter the Fault. Find Jesse, unlock Shift, use Shift to finish the ritual and climb back out of the garage, then return to the West Incursion Zone Resonant.

    Follow the objective marker in the West Incursion Zone to the Parking Garage.

  2. Find the Parking Garage Security Key

    The garage door is locked. The key is nearby, inside Wear 'Em & Wash 'Em.

    2. Skip the blocked front entrance and take the side alley
    3. Enter through the rear or side access
    4. Find the floating body and take the Parking Garage Security Key

  3. Open the Parking Garage

    Use the Security Key to open the garage, then get inside.

  4. Go Down, Not Up

    The Fault is at the bottom of the Parking Garage, not at street level.

    4. Drop all the way to the lowest level

  5. Enter the Fault

    Cross the gap at the bottom and use the old television.

  6. Find Jesse

    Follow the Fault route until you reach Jesse.

  7. Unlock Shift

    Talking to Jesse grants Shift, the gravity-reorientation traversal ability.

  8. Learn Shift

    Use Shift to reorient Dylan onto gravity-affected walls, roads and ceilings.

  9. Complete Jesse's Ritual

    Use Shift to reach the final ritual point and finish it.

  10. Escape the Parking Garage

    Don't stop here. Use Shift to climb back out of the garage.

    4. Fight through the garage to the upper level
    5. Exit back to the West Incursion Zone

What's happening?

Why can't I continue?

It is usually one of these: a missing key, a wrong entrance, an unfinished interaction, an ability tutorial, an unfinished ritual, or the garage exit route. Check which one applies before calling it a bug.

  • The quest isn't appearing

    Check that you have entered the West Incursion Zone and reached the Parking Garage route. The quest becomes available during your first progression through the zone.

  • The Parking Garage door is locked

    You need the Parking Garage Security Key. The key route is in step 2 above.

  • I can't enter Wear 'Em & Wash 'Em

    Do not use the blocked front entrance. Go around the side alley and enter through the rear or side access.

  • I have the key but can't use the garage

    Use the garage access diagnostic above before assuming a bug. It covers the locked door and the route inside.

  • I can't find the Fault

    Go down through the Parking Garage to the lowest section and look for the old television.

  • Shift doesn't work

    Check that you are facing a valid gravity surface and that it is close enough. Then check whether the route expects a different surface next.

  • I completed the ritual but can't leave

    The exit uses Shift. Use the gravity surfaces in the garage and follow the EXIT signs upward.

  • Theater is still unreachable

    Check that Shift is unlocked, that the quest is actually complete, and that you returned to the correct West Incursion Zone route. Then resume the West Incursion Zone Resonant.
