Three official objectives, and each one plays completely differently. Track the phase you are in.

New combat rule

Hedron enemies resist Raw damage.

Do not rely only on your basic Strike attack. Swap to non-Raw options before you assume your build is too weak.

First Hedron encounter

You meet Hedron enemies while returning through Prime Candidate Testing. If your shots suddenly feel weak, this is the reason, not your level.

Phase navigator

The journal lists three objectives. The page keeps that shape and only expands route and combat inside each phase.

Rescue Pope

Head back through Prime Candidate Testing, clear the first Hedron enemies and reach Pope.

  1. Return through Prime Candidate Testing
  2. Clear the Hedron encounter
  3. Reach the shelter near the Main Test Chamber
  4. Use the shelter intercom
  5. Speak to Pope
Landmark

Prime Candidate Testing and the Main Test Chamber shelter

If you are stuck

If the objective will not advance after the fight, use the intercom and finish the conversation with Pope.

Where is Pope?

Return through Prime Candidate Testing, clear the Hedron enemies, reach the shelter by the Main Test Chamber and use the intercom to speak to Pope.

Enemies dead but the objective won't change

The fight alone does not advance the quest. Use the shelter intercom near the Main Test Chamber, then speak to Pope once the shelter opens. Only the conversation changes the objective.

Report to Pope

After the boss, take the elevator back to the Oldest House and finish the debrief with Pope.

  1. Turn around from the boss arena

If you are stuck

Defeating the boss is not the end. The quest only completes after you finish the debrief with Pope.

Boss dead but the quest is still active

You are not done yet. Severing the Link only changes the objective. Turn around, take the elevator back to the Oldest House and finish the conversation with Pope.

Sever the Hedron Link

  1. 1 · Main Test Chamber
  2. 2 · Exterior tower
  3. 3 · Gravity corridor
  4. 4 · Unknown
  5. 5 · Hedron Parallel

Main Test Chamber

Climb the side walls and the moving pillar, then leave sideways at the top. Do not descend the mirrored wall.

Am I going in circles?

Either wall works. The mistake is climbing up one side and then descending the mirrored wall, which feels like progress but takes you back down.

Look for

The prison-cell gate route near the upper end of the moving pillar. Leave sideways there instead of continuing around.

Exterior tower

Fractured architecture with large gaps. Keep climbing upward and use wall and platform traversal; do not look for a single correct platform.

RuleKeep moving upward

Gravity corridor

Gravity keeps flipping, so up, down, floor and ceiling stop meaning anything. Use the red carpet as the single orientation clue.

Follow

The red carpet

This is a colour-trail route. The red carpet stays continuous even when the room rotates.

Unknown

The first main-story entry into the Unknown. Interact with the Patterned TV to open the Hedron Link space.

First visit
Patterned TV

Interact with the Patterned TV to enter the Hedron Link space. It behaves like the Fault transitions you have used before.

Hedron Link space

A crystallized, Fault-like path that leads to Hedron Parallel. Route plus light combat; the boss is at the end.

Unknown map unlock

Check the area for the map unlock before you continue. What the unlock item is and whether it is permanent is still being verified.

Hedron Parallel

A crystallized, Fault-like path that leads to Hedron Parallel. Route plus light combat; the boss is at the end.

Hedron Parallel is named here as the boss of this mission. Its canonical boss page is still gated until the Hedron family graph is resolved.

Boss quick solver
  1. 1Keep moving between platforms
  2. 2Avoid the rotating and homing attacks
  3. 3Clear the surrounding enemies
  4. 4Attack the exposed golden nodes and body
  5. 5Use non-Raw damage
Why am I doing almost no damage?

If you are mainly using basic Raw attacks, that is the reason. Hedron enemies resist Raw damage, so switch to secondary attacks, Fire, Mold or Hedron abilities instead of assuming your level is too low.

Non-Raw options at this point
