Why can't I reach the quest marker?

The marker is on another island and there is no route to it yet.

You have probably not opened the Gravity Well that connects that island. This is not a bug and it is not a platforming problem: the Unknown is opened by Pope's Research, not by jumping harder.

How to know a Probe is correct

The correct circle is marked on the minimap
The beeping gets stronger as you close in
The Probe light turns green after a correct placement

If a light is not green, that Probe is in the wrong circle. Fix it before you look for the Gravity Well.

Gravity Wells

A completed Probe set creates a Gravity Well, and the Gravity Well opens the travel route to the next island. This is the actual thing that makes a quest marker reachable.

Gravity Wells are a world mechanic, not a one-off item. They also matter for other Unknown content, so treat them as navigation, not loot.

Treat it as a repeating wave fight. Bursting the elite is not how the fight ends.

Track the detached heavy → Wait for its charge → Dodge sideways → Punish the opening → Finish one target at a time
Late phase
Watch the smaller enemies while you keep tracking the heavy attackers. Do not spread damage across several bodies at once.

This is a target-management fight, not a wave fight. Deal with one detached heavy before you switch.

Hedron Proxy is the boss of the Patterned Field Office Link. Its canonical boss page is still gated until the Hedron family graph is resolved.

Both bosses share one rule

Hedron enemies resist Raw damage. If your damage suddenly looks flat, switch to secondary attacks, Fire, Mold or Hedron abilities before you blame your level.

Loot from the Hedron Factor and Hedron Proxy encounters is not part of the quest reward. The exact reward bundle is still being verified.
