Enemy Encounter Patterns

Enemies rarely appear alone. These are the compositions the production encounter data shows most often.

  • Hiss assault line

Ranged drones that pin you down while a heavy closes the distance. Break the ranged pressure first or fight from cover.

    Often appears with

Hiss Guard · Hiss Collider · Hiss Focused

  • Hiss mobile push

Fast melee and thrown explosives that punish standing still. Keep moving and use Reach or a knock-down to reset the gap.

    Often appears with

Hiss Pursuer · Hiss Thug · Hiss Riveter

  • Mold nest

A cluster of Mold drones around a heavy. Clear the spore and spike sources before committing to melee.

    Often appears with

Mold Host · Mold Spreader · Mold Scrapper

  • Hedron cluster

Displacing Hedron variants that attack from several angles. Prioritise the beam and spin sources, then the heavy.

    Often appears with

Hedron Flux · Hedron Base · Hedron Sequence · Hedron Axiom

Having trouble with an enemy?

Enemies tell you what you are fighting. These hubs tell you what to do about it.

Understand Enemy Combat

These are the same facts you need to judge any fight: how much it can take, how easily it breaks, what it does, and how often you meet it.

Health

Health reflects how much damage an enemy can withstand. The hub compares enemies in bands: Lower, Medium and Higher.

  • Lower10 enemies
  • Medium9 enemies
  • Higher9 enemies

Falter

Falter indicates how much pressure is needed before an enemy enters its Falter state. Higher Falter enemies resist stagger longer.

  • Lower11 enemies
  • Medium13 enemies
  • Higher4 enemies

Combat Role

The role tells you what the enemy does in a fight: close-range, ranged, heavy, mobile, support or special.

  • Close-range · 4
  • Ranged · 8
  • Heavy · 7
  • Mobile · 2
  • Support · 4
  • Special · 3

Combat Role is a gameplay-oriented grouping used to help compare enemy behaviour, not an official class.

Encounter pressure

How often an enemy shows up in documented encounters. This is a site-derived estimate, not a game field.

Exact Health and Falter values are shown on the enemy detail layer and in the Enemy Encounter Explorer.

Ask the assistant

Ask which enemies appear in an area, what usually shows up together, or what counters a threat you are stuck on.
