Reach the Unknown from the Oldest House, progress Pope's Research to open Gravity Well routes between islands, then sever the Link at the Patterned Evac Building and the Patterned Field Office. Defeat Hedron Factor and Hedron Proxy in either order. The quest ends as soon as both Links are severed.

Why can't I reach the quest marker?

The marker is on another island and there is no route to it yet.

You have probably not opened the Gravity Well that connects that island. This is not a bug and it is not a platforming problem: the Unknown is opened by Pope's Research, not by jumping harder.

How to know a Probe is correct

The correct circle is marked on the minimap
The beeping gets stronger as you close in
The Probe light turns green after a correct placement

If a light is not green, that Probe is in the wrong circle. Fix it before you look for the Gravity Well.

Gravity Wells

A completed Probe set creates a Gravity Well, and the Gravity Well opens the travel route to the next island. This is the actual thing that makes a quest marker reachable.

Gravity Wells are a world mechanic, not a one-off item. They also matter for other Unknown content, so treat them as navigation, not loot.

鎖定分離出來的重裝個體 → 等它衝鋒 → 向側面閃避 → 抓住破綻反擊 → 一次只處理一個目標
後期階段
在追蹤重裝衝鋒者的同時注意小怪。不要把傷害分散到多個個體上。

這是目標管理戰，不是波次戰。先解決一個分離的重裝個體，再換目標。

Hedron Proxy 是 Patterned Field Office Link 的 Boss。在 Hedron 家族圖譜閉合之前，它的正式 Boss 頁面仍處於 gated 狀態。

Both bosses share one rule

Hedron enemies resist Raw damage. If your damage suddenly looks flat, switch to secondary attacks, Fire, Mold or Hedron abilities before you blame your level.

One boss dead but the quest is still active

That is expected. Severing one Link leaves the other one. Check the tracker, then head to the remaining Link. There is no hidden completion interaction to find.

Loot from the Hedron Factor and Hedron Proxy encounters is not part of the quest reward. The exact reward bundle is still being verified.
