CONTROL Resonant Reward Pool Simulator

Explore how rewards are selected inside verified loot pools, including candidate weights and quota depletion.

Pool odds are conditional on the reward pool being activated. They are not overall drop rates for a Boss, Quest, Chest, or Enemy.

Why isn't pool share the same as drop chance?

A pool share is the candidate's portion of the selection weight inside an already active reward pool. It does not mean the source awards that item at the same chance every time you complete or defeat it.

  1. Source happens
  2. Reward request becomes eligible
  3. Reward pool activates
  4. Candidates are filtered
  5. Weighted pool selection

This tool models the last step, pool selection, once the pool is already active.

How to read a pool share

A 50% pool share means the candidate owns half of the selection weight under the stated assumptions. It does not mean the source has a 50% chance to award that item each time you complete or defeat it.

Reward pool questions

Is the percentage shown the actual drop rate?

No. It is the candidate's share inside a known reward pool under the stated assumptions.

Why does the probability change after a reward is selected?

The selector consumes that candidate's remaining quota, so the next selection uses whatever quota is left.

Why does the pool reset?

When the active group's quota is used up, its counters start over for the next cycle.

Can this tell me how many Boss kills I need?

No. Whether a Boss, Quest, Chest, or Enemy activates the pool, and how often that source can be repeated, is outside this model.

Are Artifact rewards finished Artifacts?

An Artifact candidate in a pool is a Blueprint. The finished Artifact is unlocked through the Forgemaster.
