The Party Won’t Stop

Find the source of the music and shut down an Altered karaoke machine before the party kills everyone still dancing.

Missable outcome

Your karaoke choices matter. A wrong or missed answer can kill a partygoer and lose the related trophy on that attempt. Nothing here is a permanent save loss — a clean retry is enough.

In-game log

There's music coming from one of the apartment blocks in the West Incursion Zone. In these circumstances? No way that's normal.

Sounds like there's a party going on in the West Incursion Zone. Hopefully the bodies aren't related.

This tracker only records what you tick. The site never reads your save.

The karaoke apartment is marked by the Singing Reported? sign and loud music.
Quick answer

Head to the West Incursion Zone and find the apartment block marked Singing Reported? and Karaoke Apartment. The street door is not the way in: cross to the opposite rooftop with Shift and enter through the upper door. Inside, investigate the dancers and the karaoke machine until the objective becomes Sing, then take the mic. Nine timed prompts follow, and picking the line that completes the rhyme keeps everyone alive.

Quest walkthrough

Four phases: find the apartment, take the rooftop route, enter from above, then sing.

1

Find the Karaoke Apartment

The quest starts in the West Incursion Zone, where an apartment block is marked by music and one very specific sign.

Singing Reported? · Karaoke Apartment

  1. 1Travel to the West Incursion Zone.
  2. 2Follow the music and the Singing Reported? marker to the apartment block.
  3. 3Confirm you are at the right building before hunting for a way in.

What's wrong?

If the quest has not appeared, you are probably outside the West Incursion Zone or have not reached the apartment block yet. Get close enough for the investigation trigger to fire.

The quest lives in the West Incursion Zone, and the game marks the building directly: the sign reads Karaoke Apartment and the reported disturbance reads Singing Reported?. Follow the music instead of hunting for coordinates.

Singing Reported?

Investigate the Source of the Music

I hear music coming from an apartment building. Whoever is inside should evacuate. I'd better find them.

  • You are inside the West Incursion Zone.
  • The map shows the Karaoke Apartment sign.
  • You can hear music coming from the building.
The karaoke apartment is marked by the Singing Reported? sign and loud music.
2

Take the Rooftop Route

The apartment's street entrance does not open for this quest. The intended approach is over the rooftops, and that route is what Shift is for.

Elevated road · opposite rooftop

  1. 1Check the front door once to confirm it is not usable.
  2. 2Move to the elevated road or the opposite rooftop.
  3. 3Use Shift to cross the gap.
  4. 4Land on the apartment rooftop.

What's wrong?

If you cannot make the crossing, check that Shift is unlocked. Without it the rooftop route is not reachable.

This apartment is entered from above. Look at the street door once if you want to be sure, then leave it and take the rooftops.

Front door · locked for this quest

Rooftop route
  1. 1Move to the elevated road.
  2. 2Face the opposite rooftop.
  3. 3Cross the gap with Shift.

The entrance the quest expects is above street level, which is why the intended approach uses the traversal route that Shift opens up.

Cross from the opposite rooftop with Shift instead of using the street door.
Can't Reach the Roof?

The apartment entrance sits above street level, and the approach the quest expects uses the traversal route made accessible by Shift. If the crossing keeps failing, that is usually the missing piece.

You may be missing Shift

Shift is unlocked by The Incursion Fault. Until it is unlocked, the rooftop route cannot be crossed, so finish that quest first.

Shift already unlocked?

Then look for the gap between the elevated road and the apartment rooftop and cross it. If the crossing keeps failing, re-aim at the rooftop surface instead of the wall.

3

Enter Through the Upper Door

Once you are on the apartment roof, the rest of the route is indoors and downhill.

  1. 1Find the upper door on the rooftop.
  2. 2Go inside and descend.
  3. 3Follow the purple light and the music to the party room.

What's wrong?

If no door opens on the roof, you are on the wrong building. Cross back and aim for the rooftop directly above the marked apartment.

Once you land, the way in is an ordinary door on the roof. Nothing here is timed, so take the descent at your own pace.

  • Find the upper door on the roof.
  • Go inside and head down.
  • Follow the purple light to the party.
The upper door leads down into the apartment.
4

Investigate the Party and Sing

The partygoers cannot stop dancing and the karaoke machine is the source. Look at the room first, then take the mic.

  1. 1Investigate the dancers and the karaoke machine.
  2. 2Wait for the objective to change to Sing.
  3. 3Take the mic and answer all nine timed prompts correctly.

What's wrong?

If the machine will not start, you may be interacting too early. Investigate the room until the objective becomes Sing, then use the machine.

The party room is unmistakable: purple light, partygoers locked in dance, and the karaoke machine at the centre of it.

  • Partygoers are dancing and cannot stop.
  • The machine is clearly the Altered Item.
  • The objective has changed to Sing.
Karaoke Machine

It looks like an Altered Item is keeping the people here dancing against their will. Maybe I can... sing them out of this situation?

Karaoke: 9 Timed Choices

Nine prompts, each on a timer. Every mistake costs a civilian, so answer only once you know the line.

The rule

Pick the line that completes the rhyme. The machine reads the first half of the lyric, and the wheel offers the endings.

Answers stay hidden until you ask for them, so you can still solve the sequence yourself.

Each round is a timed choice, and the correct line completes the rhyme.

Flawless run checklist

Read the prompt, say the line, reveal the answer to check yourself, then tick the round. Nine ticks is the trophy condition.

Quest Completion vs Flawless Outcome

The quest can finish even after a mistake. What changes is who is left standing when it does.

Quest completion

The song ends and the Altered Item stops affecting the party, whatever you answered.

Flawless outcome

Answer all nine rounds correctly and every remaining partygoer survives. This is the trophy condition.

In-game log · flawless

Music led me to a house party that was somehow killing partygoers. An Altered Karaoke Machine had them dancing until they dropped dead. The only way to help the survivors was to sing. I somehow got the lyrics right and saved what was left of the party.

Partial run

One or more wrong answers mean more people die, but the quest still resolves.

In-game log · flawless

Music led me to a house party that was somehow killing partygoers. An Altered Karaoke Machine had them dancing until they dropped dead. The only way to help the survivors was to sing. Unfortunately, I couldn't get all the lyrics right, and more people died... At least it wasn't everyone.

Worst case

Miss every round and the whole party dies before the song ends. The quest still completes.

Music led me to a house party that was somehow killing partygoers. An Altered Karaoke Machine had them dancing until they dropped dead. The only way to help the survivors was to sing. But... I couldn't get any of the lyrics right, and everyone died. I wish I could forget the whole thing...

Flawless outcome

Be What You Want to Be

A perfect karaoke run is required for Be What You Want to Be. If you make a mistake and want the trophy, retry from a suitable checkpoint before committing to the failed outcome.

  1. 1

    Answer all nine prompts correctly.

  2. 2

Let the sequence finish without a partygoer collapsing.

  3. 3

Let the quest complete, then check the trophy.

What's wrong?

If the trophy did not unlock, at least one round was wrong or missed. Compare your run against the answers above and retry the sequence from a checkpoint.

The sequence is short, so a retry is cheap. Nothing here permanently locks the trophy out of a save.

If You Picked the Wrong Karaoke Answer

Just want the quest finished?

Keep going. A wrong answer does not stop the quest from resolving, so you can finish it and clean up the outcome later.

Want the trophy and the save-everyone outcome?

Do not accept the failed result. Reload the nearest checkpoint or restart the sequence from a suitable retry point, then run the nine rounds again with the answers in front of you.

Quest Rewards

Public walkthroughs agree on these rewards from the quest.

Artifact

Untapped Bar Blade

Outfit

Varsity Jacket

Some walkthroughs also mention a Talent Point. Treat that as unverified here until the reward payload is confirmed.

If the rewards are missing, confirm the quest completed and the closing dialogue finished, then check the quest journal for the reward entry.

Stuck on a phase or a specific round?

The assistant answers in player language: why the apartment will not open, whether Shift is the problem, or which line to pick next.

  • I can't get into the karaoke apartment
  • Do I need Shift for this quest?
  • What do I answer in round 6?
  • I lost a partygoer, can I still get the trophy?
