World Feats

World Feats in CONTROL Resonant

World Feats are repeatable activities found across Manhattan. Complete them for Zone XP and rewards, then find new ones after the next Resonant Cycle.

World Feat cycle
  1. 1Find a World Feat
  2. 2Complete the activity
  3. 3Earn Zone XP + rewards
  4. 4Defeat a Resonant
  5. 5World Feats refresh

World Feats are optional, and the Map shows where they are. Each Resonant Cycle brings new ones.

World Feat ≠ Quest ≠ Puzzle

These three look similar in a guide list, but only one of them is a World Feat. Keeping them apart stops the wrong page from owning the wrong answer.

World Feat

A repeatable optional activity that appears in the world and on the Map. It rewards Zone XP and materials, and refreshes with Resonant Cycles.

Quest

A story or side objective with progression and prerequisite state. It does not belong to the World Feat system.

Puzzle

A puzzle is a mechanic, not automatically an activity type. Some World Feats contain puzzle-like mechanics; other puzzles belong to quests or locations.

How World Feats work

A World Feat is a loop, not a one-time pickup. Completing activities feeds Zone progression, and defeating a Resonant starts the next cycle.

  1. 1Find a World Feat
  2. 2Complete the activity
  3. 3Earn Zone XP + rewards
  4. 4Improve the Zone
  5. 5Defeat a Resonant
  6. 6A new Resonant Cycle begins
  7. 7World Feats refresh

When a Resonant is defeated, the area moves to a new Resonant Cycle. World Feats and Enemy Encounters respawn, so the same Zone can be cleared again.

World Feats & Zone Progression

World Feats are one of the ways to earn Zone XP. This hub only explains how they feed Zone progression; the full Zone Level breakdown lives with the Zones.

World Feats and Zone XP
  1. 1Complete a World Feat
  2. 2Earn XP for that Zone
  3. 3Raise the Zone Level
  4. 4Unlock Zone Upgrades

Why am I getting more World Feats?

Some Zone Upgrades increase the World Feat cap. A higher cap means more World Feats can appear in that Zone in later Resonant Cycles; it does not change the feats you can still complete now.

World Feat FAQ

What is a World Feat in CONTROL Resonant?

A World Feat is an optional, repeatable activity you find in the world, usually marked on the Map. Completing one earns rewards including Zone XP for the area you are in.

Do World Feats respawn?

Yes. When the Resonant in a Zone is defeated, that Zone enters a new Resonant Cycle and World Feats, along with Enemy Encounters, refresh.

Do World Feats give Zone XP?

Yes. World Feats are a source of Zone XP. Zone XP raises the Zone Level and unlocks Zone Upgrades and Talent Points.

How do I get more World Feats?

Progress the Zone to unlock the World Feat Cap Increase Zone Upgrade, then defeat the Zone's Resonant to start a new Resonant Cycle. The higher cap lets more World Feats appear in later cycles.

Is Pattern Break a quest or a puzzle?

Pattern Break is a World Feat with a puzzle-like mechanic. Its owner is the World Feat system, not the puzzle catalogue, so its solution belongs to its World Feat page.
