Lit Sparkler Overview
Lit Sparkler is a Perfect Dodge payoff Artifact. A successful defensive timing arms it, and the next Dodge turns that timing into an area attack: an explosive charge that deals Fire Damage to nearby enemies. The core trigger is the Perfect Dodge, not a Fire build.
It does not explode on the Perfect Dodge itself, and it does not make every Dodge deal Fire Damage. First land the Perfect Dodge. Then the following Dodge is the explosion.
What Lit Sparkler Does
A defensive success becomes the next Dodge's attack.
After landing a Perfect Dodge, your next Dodge becomes an offensive area attack. That Dodge creates an explosive charge and deals Fire Damage to nearby enemies. The published effect stops there.

- Not verified
Fire Damage is the verified type. The effect does not say the explosion applies Burn, Burn buildup, or a Burn status. Ignite and Inferno keep their own Fire and Burn rules. No damage number, radius, duration, or cooldown is published, so none is shown here.
How the Perfect Dodge Trigger Works
Two steps. The second Dodge is the explosion.
Lit Sparkler waits for a Perfect Dodge, then spends that payoff on the Dodge after it. The order is the whole effect.
- 1 · Perfect Dodge
Land a Perfect Dodge. A normal Dodge does not start the effect.
- 2 · Arms the Artifact
The Perfect Dodge arms Lit Sparkler. Nothing explodes on this Dodge.
- 3 · Next Dodge
The following Dodge is the activation. It is not the Perfect Dodge you just landed.
- 4 · Explosive charge
That next Dodge creates an explosive charge.
- 5 · Fire Damage
The charge deals Fire Damage to nearby enemies.
After landing a Perfect Dodge, your next Dodge becomes an offensive area attack. Lit Sparkler does not make Dodge itself deal Fire Damage.
What Happens on the Next Dodge
The follow-up Dodge is the attack.
The Dodge after a Perfect Dodge creates the explosive charge. You reposition and hit nearby enemies with Fire Damage in the same action. That is the mobility-to-offense conversion: a defensive success pays off as the next movement's attack.
How long the armed state lasts, whether it stacks, and how far the explosion reaches are not published.
Is Lit Sparkler Good?
Excellent when Perfect Dodges are part of the fight. Poor when they are not.
Judge it by whether you actually Perfect Dodge, and whether nearby enemies are the problem. It is not a passive damage Artifact, and missing damage numbers mean it is not a proven boss-DPS pick.
| Scenario | Fit |
|---|---|
| You land Perfect Dodges often | Excellent |
| Aggressive mobility | Strong |
| Fighting groups nearby | Strong |
| Passive damage build | Weak |
| You rarely Perfect Dodge | Poor |
| Fire or Burn build | Not enough evidence |
| Boss single-target DPS | Unverified / situational |
Best Builds for Lit Sparkler
Raise it when Perfect Dodges are frequent. Drop it when they are not.
Lit Sparkler is a dodge-payoff slot with a secondary area attack. It converts a Perfect Dodge into Fire Damage on the next Dodge. It is not a Best Fire Artifact: Burn synergy is not verified.
- Perfect Dodges are common
If you land Perfect Dodges often, Lit Sparkler is a strong offensive follow-up while you keep moving.
- Perfect Dodges are rare
If you rarely Perfect Dodge, the Artifact stays quiet. Weight it down in that case.
- Not a Fire status build
The damage type is Fire. That does not prove Burn, Ignite synergy, or a Fire status build.
Lit Sparkler vs Pickpocket's Tool
Both reward a Perfect Dodge. They spend it on different follow-ups.
Lit Sparkler is the direct offensive follow-up: the next Dodge becomes a Fire area attack. Pickpocket's Tool is the resource follow-up: the next Combat Ability costs no Power.
What do you want after a Perfect Dodge?
Lit Sparkler
Deal damage while repositioning. The next Dodge creates the explosive charge.
Pickpocket's Tool
Cast a Combat Ability without a Power cost. The payoff is the next Combat Ability, not the next Dodge.
Lit Sparkler vs Lost Prescription
Same trigger, different problem.
Lit Sparkler
Offense. The next Dodge is an area Fire attack. Choose it when the Perfect Dodge should hurt nearby enemies.
Lost Prescription
Survival. A Perfect Dodge has a 30% chance to recover a small amount of Health. Choose it when chip damage is the problem.
These solve different jobs. This page does not rank one above the other.
