Shiny Pebble Overview

Shiny Pebble is a Gravity Anomaly sustain Artifact. Its official category is Combat, and its job is conditional healing: gradual Health recovery while a Gravity Anomaly is in use, especially if you enter that state already hurt. Completing Freeze Frame rewards the Untapped Shiny Pebble, which the Forgemaster in the Gap turns into the Artifact.

What Shiny Pebble Does

Shiny Pebble slowly restores Dylan's Health up to 50% while he is using a Gravity Anomaly.

  1. 1 · Below the threshold

Health recovers gradually while the Gravity Anomaly condition is active and Health is under 50%.

  2. 2 · At or above 50%

Do not expect further healing from Shiny Pebble once Health is already at the threshold.

  3. 3 · Outside a Gravity Anomaly

The condition is not active, so the restoration does not run.

Health per second, tick interval, activation delay and the regen curve are not published.

What Does “Up to 50% Health” Mean?

The 50 in the effect is a restoration cap. It is how far this healing is allowed to go, not a bonus to Dylan's maximum Health.

  • Not +50% maximum Health
  • Not an instant 50% heal
  • Not a 50% heal every Gravity Anomaly

Health recovery has a 50% threshold while the Gravity Anomaly condition is active.

Shiny Pebble and Gravity Anomalies

The Gravity Anomaly is the condition. While it is in use, Shiny Pebble restores Health gradually, up to 50%.

  1. 1 · Condition active

Dylan is using a Gravity Anomaly.

  2. 2 · Gradual recovery

Shiny Pebble restores Health over time.

  3. 3 · Up to 50%

    Recovery stops at the threshold.

Fingerboard turns the same Gravity Anomaly condition into damage and Falter. Shiny Pebble turns it into Health recovery.

Shiny Pebble and Shift

Shift can place Dylan on a Gravity Anomaly surface. Shiny Pebble watches that Gravity Anomaly state. The trigger stays the Gravity Anomaly, not the Shift button.

Using Shift does not restore Health by itself.

Is Shiny Pebble Good?

It depends on the situation. These are fits, not a single tier.

  • Gravity Anomaly encounter — Excellent

This is the condition the Artifact is built for.

  • Low Health and sustain — Excellent

Entering a Gravity Anomaly while hurt is when the threshold matters.

  • Combat outside the trigger — Limited

If you are not using a Gravity Anomaly, the effect is not active.

  • Damage-focused build — Low direct offensive value

It does not add damage or Falter.

  • Survival build — Strong situational fit

Pair it with offense from somewhere else when Gravity Anomaly routes are the danger.

Best Uses for Shiny Pebble

Use it when survivability inside a Gravity Anomaly matters more than extra damage.

  1. 1 · Injured entry

Go into a Gravity Anomaly below half Health and let the restoration climb toward the threshold.

  2. 2 · Gravity Anomaly routes

Sustain through surfaces and encounters that keep the condition active.

  3. 3 · Survival loadout

Keep an offensive Artifact for damage, and use Shiny Pebble for the Gravity Anomaly stretch.

The 50% figure is a cap, not a reason to rank it above every other survival Artifact.

Shiny Pebble vs Fingerboard

Both care about Gravity Anomalies. They solve different problems.

Choose Fingerboard for offense

Damage and Falter while a Gravity Anomaly is in use.

Choose Shiny Pebble for sustain

Gradual Health recovery up to 50% when you enter a Gravity Anomaly injured, and when staying alive matters more than damage.

Neither replaces the other.

How to Get Shiny Pebble

Complete Freeze Frame to obtain the Untapped Shiny Pebble, then use the Forgemaster in the Gap to unlock the Artifact.

  1. 1 · Complete Freeze Frame

The quest reward is the blueprint, not the finished Artifact.

  2. 2 · Untapped Shiny Pebble

This is the blueprint Freeze Frame grants.

  3. 3 · Forgemaster in the Gap

Unlock the Artifact there. Camera-by-camera steps stay on the Freeze Frame page.

Freeze Frame Reward

Freeze Frame has a direct quest reward for this blueprint. Finish the quest, then form Shiny Pebble at the Forgemaster. This page does not repeat the camera walkthrough.

Freeze Frame also counts toward Altered Item completion and Panopticon Intern. That trophy stays on the quest page.

Shiny Pebble is not a random chest drop, and this page does not publish a global blueprint drop rate.

Untapped Shiny Pebble

Untapped Shiny Pebble

The Untapped Shiny Pebble is the blueprint. It unlocks a new Artifact in the Gap. The picture is that blueprint, not Shiny Pebble equipped.
