No. Scrunchie covers Primary Melee weapon forms. The Weekend Crossword covers the Combo Finisher after that combo. A higher percentage does not make this a stronger Scrunchie.

The Weekend Crossword raises Combo Finisher damage by 15%. The bonus lands on the finisher that closes a Primary combo, not on the Primary hits that lead into it and not on Secondary attacks.
What The Weekend Crossword does
Increases Damage done by Combo Finishers by +15%.
This is not Primary Melee damage +15%. A normal Primary attack does not receive the bonus. A Secondary attack does not receive it either.
The page does not turn the 15% into an exact final-damage increase, and it does not add it to a Primary Form bonus or a Secondary Form bonus. Those cover different parts of the attack.
What is a Combo Finisher?
Keep using the Primary attack through the combo. The Combo Finisher is the extra hit at the end, and it has to be equipped in the Loadout.
